As an educator currently on leave, I miss the “Elections” we held in my classroom.  My Kindergartners may not have fully grasped the message of Democracy, voting and the “American Way”, but they sure understood what it was like to vote for their favorite snack-and how it felt when someone else’s snack won instead.
